High-performance coatings offer protection for steel surfaces, defending against water ingress, soil stressors, and debris—a major cause of delamination. Tape failure can often go unnoticed, as these forces slowly degrade a pipe’s ability to withstand internal pressures. This is why a reliable, properly applied layer (or two) of tape is the only way to ensure long-term peace of mind.

Cathodic Protection Systems

Metal structures are at high risk of corrosion when exposed to the elements. While protective tapes are a great line of defense, they aren’t infallible. Pipeline corrosion occurs when the metal surface oxidizes as water effectively strips away electrons from the structure. Cathodic protection systems use sacrificial metals to take the brunt of oxidation in place of the pipe, ensuring the continued functionality of the pipe. They come in many forms, powered and unpowered. We encourage you to speak with our experts for a consultation on your project requirements.

Further Protective Materials

Additional pipeline protection comes in the form of liquid coatings, casing fillers, epoxies, mastics, rock shields, and outerwraps. With so much infrastructure relying on the continued functionality of utility piping, environmental risks should be mitigated at all costs. Not every system faces the same threat. Our technical team has supported pipelines across the entire globe. We offer close collaboration and site visits to ensure you invest in a solution that lasts.
