A three ply tape with a thicker film layer which overlaps the foil, combining the attributes of a standard shielding tape with a core binder in typical applications such as process control cable. The Tape's construction consists of a 0.00075” (19µ) “wide” polyester film (foil free edge), a 0.00048” (12µ) co-extruded polyester film and a 0.00035” (9µ) aluminum foil.
